Mexico Day 8, Feb 20th 2007

travel day back... we packed and said good bye to our bungalow and san pancho. our flight was at 4:30 and we left san pancho around noon. so we drove into puerto vallarata and checked out the town a bit. it's huge, I didn't realize how spread out the place is. saw a big cruise ship in port and the lame motels and all-inclusives near port... I can't imagine staying at one of those places as you are stuck in the lamest part of town right in the center and you would never get to see anything because it takes so long to get in/out of the area. I wanted to see a bit of the inner city and we drove up on some of the local streets and hills. then off to our flight.

we had tacos for lunch, not as good as in san pancho, but still good. 4 tacos and 2 cokes was about $3-4.
